Crop Challenge #13

Post by mayerkt »

Crop Challenge #13 - Incorporate a photo overlay into a layout! Open to digital, hybrid and regular layouts.

Digital - use one of the fun overlays in the Shoppe (CLICK HERE), or try to use a fun texture to add some punch. Hybrid gals can do the same and then print the overlayed photo out to scrap with paper supplies **OR** even print a digital overlay on a blank transparency, . Traditional scrapbookers can utilize some of the fun transparencies on the market! The Sky is the limit!!

Here's an example of an original photo:

And the same photo using a digital overlay from Julie Mead - it totally adds a little bit of interest:

Also, here are a couple of examples of digital layouts that incorporate photo overlays.

Paper scrappers: you can use transparency overlays. there are many in the shoppe. Look here http://www.acherryontop.com/shop/search/overlay?v=s6

If you print your photos at home, you can also use a digital overlay. Apply it to your photo and then print. OR if you have printable transparencies, you can print a digital overlay and then use it on your paper layout.

I just bought my first transparency overlay earlier this summer. Been hanging on to it until I could figure out how to use it! Now I have the inspiration. thanks.

Woot! I have so many transparancies, I tend to buy them and NEVER use them I think I used one once, and I used it wrong lol on purpose but still.

sorry for the bad pic, the weather is yucky & I can't take it outside. :(

I used my fast scrap (FISH) challenge and built it into this page.
